Некоторая информация от сэнсэя Марото по поводу его школы и т.д., объясняющая что делает портрет Уэсибы в его додзё (думаю, перевести будет несложно тому, кто захочет):
The TRADITION of TAKEDA-RYU
MAROTO - HA
Takeda Ryu is not an martial art , the name of a very old japanese school of samurai Warriors which includes 7 martial disciplines :
• Aikijitsu
• Iaido
• Ju-kenpo
• Jo-do
• Sobu-kendo
• Shugi-jitsu
• Shuriken-jitsu
Takeda Ryu is descending from the MINAMOTO's , the ancestors of the Takeda family , a famous lordly clan of Japan. From the 16-th century , this clan was on the decline and was divided into two distinct schools :TAKEDA RYU and DAITO RYU.
The first one has been transmited by Nobutomo TAKEDA , the brother of the faumous TAKEDA Shingen ,and the second one by Kunitsugu TAKEDA.
Today , TAKEDA RYU has a revival of popularity et de notoriety , thanks to Master Roland J. MAROTEAUX , 6 Dan Dai Shihan , disciple of Soke Hisashi NAKAMURA ,44th Grand Master of this old school.
The Aiki-Ju-Jitsu is a very special form of Ju-jitsu which was born in the TAKEDA clan and held in big secrecy as we can discover from very old books from National Japanesse Archives. MINAMOTO -no - YOSHIMITSU was the the person who codified this method in the 11-th century and who passed by to his son Yoshikyo , the founder of the TAKEDA family.
The schools who divided from TAKEDA RYU
There are now a lot of schools and styles of Martial Arts ( like Aiki-jitsu , Aiki-jujitsu or Aikido ) in all the world founded by a lot of Masters who pretend , of course to be the inheritants of the real Traditions.
Here is a very difficult problem , specially in USA and Europe ( but even in Japan ) because the most of this schools are uncertified "replicas" of the japanese old traditions.
The traditionals schools are divided in 3 groups :
1.GEN RYU - the original , source -school ...
